I visited Colleen while I was in Ohio this summer. She was busy with some painting and staining, so I decided to chip in! It was the least I could do after she helped paint my house last year.

Colleen has a killer cat, and I caught Jack in the act! When I was standing near my bed, I felt something on my foot. I was cracking up when I looked down and saw this cute little paw playing with my foot!

We then visited the Loveless Cafe on the way home to Ohio. Yummo! Colleen found a new friend!

Buckeye Forever!

For those of you that thought I'd never come back, I'm back! But I'll always be a buckeye at heart. My trip to Ohio was the best and I will be sharing it with you over the next few days. I should have kept it up while I was gone, but wireless internet was hard to come by. If I found it, it wouldn't last but a few minutes. I should have brought this little buckeye pillow home with me, but the picture is just as fun for me because of how we got it! My partner in crime was Colleen and we were at a small craft/food market in Dayton. I didn't want to just hold the pillow up in front of my face, I wanted it to be my face! So we made sure the coast was clear and took the pillow in my mouth while Colleen snapped a pic! Anyway, we laughed all the way to the car!

I know that Debbie Cook or I never imagined what would happen when going to the St. George Roadrunners' baseball game. She knows my love of baseball and was so excited to take me to the game. I still wish it would have been my car!

Cedar City

I can't imagine going to Cedar City without visiting Cedar Breaks. I have not been to Cedar Breaks since I graduated from SUU in 1990! It's as beautiful as I remember. I had a class last week in Cedar City and I took the opportunity to visit here again. I remember something my dad said to me when we were here 17 years ago. I'm paraphrasing, but he said something to the affect of how can somebody look at this (Cedar Breaks) and not believe in God. I've never forgotten that.
